ERS Silver Awards Winners - D7 Recruitment

Last Thursday, members of the D7 Recruitment team attended the ERS Silver Award Ceremony, recognising our Silver Award status under the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust Employer Recognition Scheme.

It was a proud moment for the business, but more importantly, it was a moment to reflect on the people behind that recognition.

At D7 Recruitment, our connection to the Armed Forces community is not abstract. Many of our colleagues and contractors have served, supported those who serve, or brought those values into the way we work every day.

Leadership. Discipline. Teamwork. Resilience. Service. A commitment to keeping people safe.

Those qualities are deeply aligned with who we are as a business and how we support our clients. With Darren Hunter and Brian Cave in attendance, we were able to hear true stories of heroism and bravery from two of our own. Brian and Darren have been instrumental in positioning D7 as a true supporter of the veteran community. D7 has funded training and arranged work placements for many veterans over the past four years and we continue to recognise the core strengths and areas of expertise which make veterans so valuable to the safety community.

Receiving Silver recognition is an important milestone, but the ceremony was also a reminder that this commitment has to be lived, not simply stated. That is our commitment for the future – to actively engage with veterans and provide true support, guidance and professional development opportunities.
